Day 1

Tenement Museum tour

The 'Hard Times' tour — actual restored apartments. Pre-book, sells out same day.

Walk · LES → SoHo via Nolita

Window shop down Elizabeth and Mott. Stop at McNally Jackson for books.

Lunch · Lucali (pizza)

Walk in at 11:45 to put your name down for dinner — or get a slice from Joe's instead and skip the wait.

MoMA (Friday late hours)

4:00 PM7:00 PM

Floor 5 first (Picasso, Van Gogh, the heavy hitters). Then 4. Skip the rest.

Cocktails · Bemelmans Bar

Murals by the Madeline guy. Get a martini and a snack plate. Live jazz starts 9:30.

Dinner · Carbone

Resy at 10am, 30 days out, exactly. Spicy rigatoni vodka, veal parm, do not skip the cart desserts.

Day 2

Breakfast · Bakeri

Scandinavian bakery. The cardamom bun + a latte. Sit in the back garden.

Walk · Williamsburg waterfront + Domino Park

Start at the ferry terminal, walk south. The view of Manhattan from Domino is the photo.

Lunch · Peter Luger (the real one)

Lunch is way easier than dinner — walk-ins possible. Porterhouse for two + the bacon to start.

Walk · Williamsburg → DUMBO (over the Williamsburg Bridge)

45 min. The Manhattan side has the dramatic skyline view.

DUMBO · Brooklyn Bridge Park

The Washington Street view between the buildings is the Instagram shot. Then walk Pebble Beach.

Day 3

Slow brunch · Buvette

French café. Croque-madame + the orange juice. They don't take reservations on Sundays — walk in by 10.

Walk · West Village + High Line south end

Bleecker, Grove, Bedford. Then up to the High Line entry at Gansevoort. Walk to 23rd, then exit.

Chelsea Market (lunch + browsing)

Los Tacos No. 1 for the line, Miznon for the cauliflower. Don't try to eat at both.

The Whitney Museum

Top floor first. Then the rooftop for the High Line view. 2 hours max.
